Gmail's new compose and reply features are just awesome! (at least to me). If you haven't seen it, go to your Gmail account right now. Click on Compose and you will see a message like this:
Click on Got It and you will see a light box at right corner of your browser similar to your Gmail chat box. This light box is the new interface to compose emails in Gmail. Have a look:
With this new interface,
- You can compose more than one emails simultaneously.
- You can check emails while you are typing.
- You can minimize drafts for later.
- It has all the features of previous compose with above new additions. You can attach files insert images; in simple words: you can compose emails as you used to do with older version with an ease.
How to switch back to old version? (Who would do this?)
You can easily switch back to older version by simply following below steps:
Step 1: Go to Compose
Step 2: At the bottom corner of the message pane, click the More menu icon
next to the Discard button.
Step 2: At the bottom corner of the message pane, click the More menu icon
Step 3: Click Switch back to old compose
Gmail will reload and you will get your old compose:
You will also see a message like this:
You can anytime get back to new compose again.
The new compose simplifies your emailing experience. It lets you easily compose emails the way you get involved in chatting. Google keeps on changing and simplifying its products. This new compose will definitely be appreciated by the audiences. Try it out now!
