Focused to achieve goals, Jobs held numerous achievements that are considered as the milestones in the field of technology and entrepreneurship. Today at his Birthday, we are recalling his few achievements as a tribute to this legendary person. Steve Jobs (1955-2011)  - the founder of Apple Inc has died today. The front page of Apple is displaying a picture of Steve and a next page gives a tribute to him http://www.apple.com/stevejobs . Steve Jobs 1955-2011 Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who’ve been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve lost a dear friend and inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple. Steve Jobs belongs to the league of famous college drop-outs that include Bill Gates ( Microsoft), Larry Ellison ( Oracle), Michael Dell (Dell) and Richard Branson (Virgin group).    Jobs, whose personal wealth is about $9 billion, in early years survived on money he got from selling coke bottles and weekly free meals at Hare Krishna temple in Oregon.  Jobs traveled to India in search of spiritual enlightenment and took to Buddhism, shaved his head and wore Indian cloths. Worked with HP in Palo Alto in California where he met Steve Wozniak, with whom he founded Apple Publishing house Simon & Schuster is set to publish the authorized biography of Jobs in November that will include his resignation. In the multiple-Oscar winning Hollywood movie Forest Gump, the lead character by the same name, played by Tom Hanks, refers to Apple as "some sort of fruit company" whose shares Gump ends up owning.
