After the launch of Windows 8, now more than 4 million copies have been sold. The major issues that Windows 8 users have faced are: its usability and compatibility with previous softwares and hardware devices. Most of the users miss the classic Start Menu of Windows operating systems (including me). When they install a Windows 8 operating system on their laptops and desktops they find it very difficult to use as they are not able to see the start menu. Windows users have got so used to with start menu that they can't use Windows without start menu.

If you have installed Windows 8, you might be looking for solutions to get your start menu back. Thanks to these three utilities that enable the old start menu in Windows 8. You will get the start menu using any of these utilities. The utilities: ViStart, Classic Shell, and StartMenu7 all do a good job of duplicating the classic Start menu with its folders, shortcuts, and easy access to common Windows locations.

ViStart can be simply used for two purposes:
1) To enhance your existing start menu (of Window Vista/XP/7) with alluring features of ViStart
2) To get back your old Start menu in Windows 8

Classic Shell is a collection of features that were available in older versions of Windows but were later removed. It has a customizable Start menu and Start button for Windows 7 and Windows 8, it adds a toolbar for Windows Explorer and supports a variety of smaller features. Look here for the full list.

Start Menu 7 - is a very good option to replace standard start menu, and our context we can use to get back Start Menu in Windows 8.

If you make a search on Google, you get a lot of other cool applications too to get start menu in Windows 8. I have tried these three and found them very useful. Give them a try and let me know whether you liked them or not.

Only a pointer to the file in the file system table is deleted.   It is very important to immediately stop writing to the storage device that previously contained your files/pictures so that the old file contents are not overwritten.  For example, don’t take any more pictures with your digital camera because new pictures will overwrite the deleted files. HOW TO RECOVER DELETED FILES???? Step1: You will need to use a utility to recover your lost files. I like to use a free ut...
