How to change default search of Mozilla Firefox?

How to change default search for Mozilla that is activated in address bar?

Default search lets you search anything you want, that too using your favourite search engine. Following images shows you the use of Default Search in Mozilla Firefox:



Here I have set the default search engine as Google, you can change it to any other search engine you want. So many times when you download a movie or any software from some untrusted websites, a toolbar also gets downloaded. Or some times they change your default search engine to their own search engines which you do not wish to use. You can change it by simply following the steps given below:

1] Open Mozilla Firefox
2] Type "about:config" in address bar.

 
 
3] Click on "I'll be careful, I promise!" button. (Make sure you don't change other settings unless you know it correctly)

4] Now in about:config type in search box "keyword"


5] Double click on keyword.URL
6] Type search url of your favourite seach engine


Different Search URLs:
Just type in the url in string value for keyword.URL and press OK
