How to set auto responder in Gmail?



Auto response is sometimes called as auto reply. It is actually a computer program or software that automatically answers email sent to it. They are simple or may be complex. The classic example of an auto-responder email is email delivery failure report "Your e mail could not be delivered".

It can be used as an email marketing tool. Whenever somebody emails you, you can reply him with an autoresponder. It is also used when you are not at your home or at a vacation. To manage your vacation or any urgent email that your friends have sent to you, whatever may be the situation, to come out this problem, you need auto responder in Gmail.

Follow given steps to set autoresponder for your Gmail account.


Login to you Gmail account and click on the gear icon on the right top menu, then click on ‘Mail settings’.

1. Log in to gmail account and click on the gear shaped icon as shown by red circle.



 2. On the right top menu, then click on "setting".
 


In the General tab under ‘Mail settings’ make sure to turn Vacation responder on.

3. In the general tab, scroll down till you get the "Vacation responder" and 
turn it on as shown in the snapshots.

Login to you Gmail account and click on the gear icon on the right top menu, then click on ‘Mail settings’.

4. You can set the first and the end date,write the proper subject and the message as i have shown.

5. Tick the check box of "only send a response to people in my contacts " as shown by the figure.

6.Click on the "Save changes" button.

Thus you have successfully set your "auto responder".

Recovering Deleted Files, Pictures & Videos

  So many times we accidently delete some important files, pictures or videos. Sometimes we loose files because of unexpected system failure  ( ultimately causing system format). We can get our deleted files back using Recovery Softwares/Utilities.  Even though a file was deleted there is a good chance that contents of the file are still around.  When a file is deleted the contents of the file are not removed. In celebration of Robert Moog’s 78th birthday, Google has created an epic Google Doodle to honor founder of Moog Music , pioneer of electronic music , best known as the inventor of the Moog synthesizer .The Doodle presents an interactive Moog synthesizer .
