The auto drop down box is the combo box that will appear while typing the URL of web site
for e.g google.com, yahoo.com, gmail.com in Firefox's address bar.

The drop down box in Firefox is a link with the Firefox history of web pages.
If you are no more willing to carry this feature, you can disable it following simple steps as shown below:
1. First Open Firefox browser.
2. Then go to Firefox’s Preferences from tools---options or fire fox tab---options depending on the version of fire fox browser installed on your computer.

From here, you have two options. First, you can clear your history and form data so that the current dropdown entries are erased. The second option will be to remove individual cookies( That may be a bit tedious but you can go with it if you are more a geek)
