A Folder is a location that stores multiple files and other
folders found on Apple Macintosh computers, computers running Microsoft
Windows, and other GUI operating systems. You can store files,
documents, multi media files (audio, video files).
The "Favorites"
folder was first introduced in Windows
7 and it is also there in Windows
8. By default, there are only three
folders available under Favorites in Windows Explorer
which are Desktop, Downloads and Recent Places.
You can add your favourite folders to this list. Open Windows
Explorer and open the folder which you want to add or pin into the Favorites.
Here I will open C:\Program Files folder.
When the folder
is open, navigate to the left pane and right click on the Favorites
menu. It can be identified by its Star like icon.
Select the Add
Current location to Favorites option as shown below.

Your desired folder
will get added to Favorites.
