What is Windows Intune?



Windows Intune is an integrated, cloud based client management solution that provides you tools, reports, and upgrade licenses to the latest version of Windows OS. Windows Intune helps to keep your computers up to date and secure, and lets your users more securely access and install targeted licensed software applications and perform other common tasks, from virtually anywhere. It simply can be treated as a cloud service that helps you centrally manage and secure your PCs through a simple, web-based console.
It was launched in July 2011.





 Who can use it?

Windows Intune is primarily aimed at small and medium enterprises and service providers who want to manage up to 500 Microsoft Windows computers. Simply, it is not for individual users. Smaller enterprizes having less no of PCs can also use it. It will simply be the substitue for your server.


Features of Using Windows Intune:

  • It is a web based service, provides friendly user interface which gives insight of your PC.
  • With Windows Intune there is no need to build and maintain a server infrastructure. All you need is a browser. No need to buy server hardware, license server OS, install, configure, and keep each server backed up and current.
  • Intune's Endpoint Protection provides real-time protection against potential threats of managed PC’s.
  • Intune provides a remote assistance software which enables you to resolve PC issues regardless of your and other users' location.
  • Software updates and their deoployment can be done centrally through Microsoft and most of the third party vendors.
  • Deploy new softwares to all of your PCs regarless of location.
  • You can efficiently manage your hardware assets using Windows Intune.
  • Central security policy helps you ensure security of your enterprize.
  • You can manage all Microsoft and third party software licenses using Windows Intune centrally for all of your computers.


In short Windows Intune works as a server(a lot more than that) for you. But you don't need to maintain this sever. You only need it's subscription.

Recovering Deleted Files, Pictures & Videos

  So many times we accidently delete some important files, pictures or videos. Sometimes we loose files because of unexpected system failure  ( ultimately causing system format). We can get our deleted files back using Recovery Softwares/Utilities.  Even though a file was deleted there is a good chance that contents of the file are still around.  When a file is deleted the contents of the file are not removed. Only a pointer to the file in the file system table is deleted.   It is very important to immediately stop writing to the storage device that previously contained your files/pictures so that the old file contents are not overwritten.  For example, don’t take any more pictures with your digital camera because new pictures will overwrite the deleted files. Google's this Doodle is just Awwwsome!!!!

In celebration of Robert Moog’s 78th birthday, Google has created an epic Google Doodle to honor founder of Moog Music , pioneer of electronic music , best known as the inventor of the Moog synthesizer .The Doodle presents an interactive Moog synthesizer .
