Google has a wealth of free online services and applications that everyone should use. Here I am listing some services that are my favourite.




  • Google Docs - It is a fantastic collection of free services. It includes a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation service, online forms, drawings, and more. Each of these services can also be viewed and edited between multiple users(that helps when you 2 or more people are working simultaneously on single project).

  • Google Calendar - It is  the best online calender to create appointments and share events between other users.

  • Google Translate - It is a free service by Google that allows you to translate any text, website, or document into another language with support of over 50 different languages.

  • Gmail -It is the best and simple email service with endless features. It has a great spam filter service. It provides security in number ways.

  • Google maps - It is an excellent maps service that offers updated maps, directions, satellite views, and street views of much of the world.

  • YouTube - It is the best location to share and watch videos.

Recovering Deleted Files, Pictures & Videos

  So many times we accidently delete some important files, pictures or videos. Sometimes we loose files because of unexpected system failure  ( ultimately causing system format). We can get our deleted files back using Recovery Softwares/Utilities.  Even though a file was deleted there is a good chance that contents of the file are still around.  When a file is deleted the contents of the file are not removed. Only a pointer to the file in the file system table is deleted.   It is very important to immediately stop writing to the storage device that previously contained your files/pictures so that the old file contents are not overwritten.  For example, don’t take any more pictures with your digital camera because new pictures will overwrite the deleted files.
