Three Simple Ways to Start a Blog

In my previous post about blogging (a long long back) I have tried to cover basics about blogging. Like what does it mean? Who is a blogger etc. Now in this post you will get a little more about blogging and most importantly three best and simple ways to start your blogging journey. Today's post might not be interesting for bloggers who already have set up their blogs. But it would surely help people who want to start their journey as a blogger. I had already mentioned all three ways in the last blog about blogging around a year back but today I will put some more light on it. Basically a blogger a person who wants to share some information with the people. Today even corporates have started sharing on their dedicated business blogs. This truly indicates the importance of blogging. People or organizations can stay connected and make their audiences aware about their products and services using their blog. Facebook security shorcuts (the new security button intoduced by Facebook)

Facebook has recently introduced the new security button on its main navigation panel. You can see it in your Facebook profile. (at right side of Home)   This is a very useful action by Facebook, it should have been done long back as security has always been major concern while using Facebook. It was quite difficult for newbies and no-geeks to handle their Profile security. Now they can easily manage their profile security.  Here is what Facebook offers in this newly introduced button: When you click on the Security button (A lock with three horizontal lines), you will see three options. 1) Who can see my stuff? Click on this option and you will see a menu: The menu gives you four options as you can see in the figure: a) Who can see my future posts? From here you can manage who see you posts. You can make it for public, friends, friends of friends, only me or you can set selected people to see it. b) Where can I review all my posts and things I...

The new Twitter profile lets you show who you are. You can customize your header and background to portray your identity on Twitter. This new profile of Twitter will be rolled out for all users on 12 Dec. So Twitter has something to give on this unique date 12-12-12. Though many users have already got the new version of the Twitter profile, it is yet to be open for all. And finally Twitter will be rolling out these redesigned profiles on 12-Dec. Your profile pic is displayed at center just below the top inside the header image. So it leaves you with your skill and creativity to make your profile look better. How to find a specific type of file in Google

Whenever we use Google, most of the times we search for a specific type of file, example: PDF or PPT or DOC. But when we enter the query in Google's search box it gathers all types of the results, be it of any type. To find a specific type of file we need to modify our search technique. Coming steps will show you how to search for a specific file type (here I am showing it for PPT i.e. power point presentation file). Step 1] Go to Google. Step 2] Write "filetype:ppt" (without quotes) before your actual search query. So if I am searching for PPTs relating to Nanotechnology I will write "filetype:ppt nanotechnology" You can see the result. You will get files of type that you have mentioned.  Similarly you can search for any file type you want. You only need to change the file type in the query, as in our example: instead of PPT, put PDF or any other type that you want to search.  We can create a generalized query as: "filetype:<write fi...
